Pretty in Pink (continued)

{on me: BDG cardigan, Aqua striped v-neck, vintage linen skirt c/o Mom's closet, J. Crew nude flat
on Bonnie: Tahari leather jacket, J. Crew pink top, Hardtail skirt, Tory Burch zebra flat, Michael Kors watch}

Wearing pink is definitely contagious. Once I started with these shorts, I just couldn't stop! I even got the beautiful Bonnie on board to show off her fab style! Adding a pop of pink is an easy way to put a modern twist on a classic black and white outfit. We are calling this Day 2 of 'The Pink Series.' Stay tuned for more Elle Woods worthy looks...

Getting Personal

{left to right: monogrammed iphone cases, customized M&M's, monogrammed coasters, cocktail napkins}

With all the weddings, bridal showers, graduations etc. coming up,  the word "presents" comes to mind. And what better gift is there than one that has your name written all over it-- literally! As I was composing the evite for my sisters bridal shower, I noticed an ad for thingsremembered.com. This website has it all and is broken down into practical categories which makes browsing easier to narrow down. My favorites include the crystal monogrammed champagne flutes and bucket. Tip: these make great party favors for guests!

Pretty in Pink

{Cynthia Rowley silk blouse, Rich & Skinny ombre shorts, Rebecca Minkoff MAB, Ray Ban aviators, silver Havaianas, O.P.I. sweet memories nail polish}

With the changing weather-- bright sunny mornings, long warm days-- there has been a noticeable pep in the step of otherwise jaded New Yorkers. Nothing signifies this change in attitude and climate more than a bright colorful outfit to follow suit. I was going through my closet recently and made a shocking discovery: I had nothing pink! As a self proclaimed girly girl, I decided I had to do something about this immediately. I might have gone a bit overboard but it's OK; in my opinion, there is no such thing as too much pink!
